APPLICATION PROCESS
The 8710-1 application process can be done through IACRA* with the online system. You can also use the old method but IACRA is easier once you try it.

*HOW TO DO I USE IACRA TO COMPLETE THE 8710-1 APPLICATION ON LINE? Need help?
Call 1-866-285-4942. (You can unblock the pop-up blockers by going to tools on your computer.)

Go to https://iacra.faa.gov/iacra (Dial up internet connections are not recommended due to the slow speed.)
Register in the IACRA system and get a USERNAME and PASSWORD. You will need to register as an APPLICANT and as the RECOMMENDING INSTRUCTOR. You will be given an IACRA FTN (Federal Tracking Number.) Keep these safe for all future IACRA use.

Have your student register in IACRA as the APPLICANT and complete the application. Remember to unblock the pop up blockers! Send me the FTN by email to mary@maryaschuaviation.com.
